The four free lines
Tap a line for its stops and times. Tap a stop for what is
near it. Line 1 is solid because its exact route is published. The other three are
dashed: only their stops are published, so a dashed line joins its stops in the
order the bus calls at them and does not show the roads it takes.
Nothing selected yet. Tap a line or a stop on the map.
Reading down = north to south
Every Line 1 stop, Doxa to the Sports Center
Ride it the other way for the return trip

ΠΑΙΔΙΚΗ ΧΑΡΑ
Playground, literally "children's joy". The phrase to look for on a sign.
ΣΤΑΣΗ
Stop. What you'll see on the pole
Times are when the bus leaves the start of the line, not when it reaches your stop.
Your own stop may be several minutes later than the listed time, depending how far along
the route it sits. Ride it once with a watch and you will know your offset for good.
The other two lines both start from the Agora.
Two things the municipality's own PDF leaves messy, passed on rather than smoothed over.
The Agora / Vrontado sheet is printed twice with the same title and date, and the two
copies disagree: one lists a 10:00 run, the other doesn't. Its title also says
"Agora–Doxa–Vrontado" while not one of its listed runs actually goes to Doxa.
Treat that line's exact routing as the least certain thing on this page.
Boundless
Getting to the three Boundless spots
Built in, so nobody has to pin them. Closest stop is worked out
across every stop we have a surveyed position for, which includes stops nobody
has named.

Add a place from Google Maps
Open Google Maps and find your building
Press and hold it until a red pin drops
Tap the numbers that appear at the top to copy them

A pin, a link, or the two numbers all work.
Or search by name instead
Street names land you on the street, not your
door. The Google Maps pin above is exact.

Beaches and the paid bus
Getting out of town
The free mini bus stays inside Ermoupoli. For the beach villages
you want ΚΤΕΛ, the green regional bus, which is not free.
Ermoupoli, where you startBeach village on the ΚΤΕΛ loop
Three patterns, not one. A coast loop that runs both directions all day, and a
Monday-only run that cuts across the middle of the island through the villages.
It runs every day, including Sunday, when the free mini bus stops completely.
About two euros twenty a single, paid to the driver. It leaves from the ΚΤΕΛ
stand by the port, not the Agora where the mini buses start.

Getting back
Buses from the beach to Ermoupoli
Pick where you are. Both directions of the loop reach town, so
some are much quicker than others.
Transcribed from the ΚΤΕΛ Syros timetable dated 06/07/2026, the same day
the mini bus summer timetable started. Both links need a signal; the times above do not.
